The Bicerin, typical of Turin in northern Italy, is a hot chocolate with coffee and whipped cream.
For 2 people, whip 12 cl or 4 oz of cream. Prepare 2 coffees and sweeten them to taste.
Melt 50 g or 2 oz of dark chocolate, add a tablespoon of cream and 2 tablespoons of milk. Mix to have a smooth cream.
Pour the chocolate into 2 cups or glasses, and add the hot coffees. It’s up to you: stir or not… it can make nice picture friendly patterns when using transparent glasses!
