Christmas is not quite the same without a delicious festive coffee… We love its sweet and intense aromas that warm us up after a digestive walk with the family or simply to finish the meal. The ultimate gourmet Christmas coffee recipe
Ingredients for 2 coffees:
- 2 espressos
- 100 ml of whipped cream
- 50 g of dark chocolate
- a cinnamon stick and a vanilla bean
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and prepare your espresso coffee. If you don’t have an espresso machine, use an Italian or filter coffee maker.
Pour it into a saucepan with the vanilla and cinnamon. Heat for a few minutes so that the flavors blend well.
Put the melted chocolate in 2 pretty cups or glasses and pour in the flavored coffee from which you removed the spices. Whip the cream and drop it on top of your Christmas coffee.
For decoration, sprinkle with cinnamon or chocolate powder. It’s ready!
The recipe for Christmas coffee with alcohol
Ingredients for 2 coffees:
- 6 cl of triple sec or Cointreau or Grand-Marnier
- 9 cl of very hot coffee
- sugar to taste (powder, cane)
- 4 tablespoons of whipped cream.
Pour the ingredients except the whipped cream into a cup before stirring. Top the Christmas coffee with two tablespoons of whipped cream.
For decoration, sprinkle with cinnamon or chocolate powder. That’s it!
